The Creative Process

"Although the creative process can be used as an effective tool, the creative process actually is so much more....."

"When your life itself becomes the subject matter of the creative process, a very different
experience of life opens to you-one in which you are involved with life at its very essence.
Your experience of time changes. Taste, color, touch, and sound are experienced
more deeply.......You may even discover that you love your life, even though
you may not have loved the events that have taken place in your life..........If you have not
created the kind of life you want, you need look no further than inexperience in the creative process ....
if you approach your investigation without preconceived ideas, you will be in the best position for exploring
your own creative process. Perhaps your life is filled with secret possibilities that you never imagined."

" Perhaps your life is filled with secret possibilities that you never imagined." Robert Fritz

There have been stories in the news media of people who went from poverty to prosperity. I can not imagine being homeless and yet holding onto a dream so strong that nothing stopped these people from living it. We all can share a story of people, places or things that stopped us from doing what we wanted to do or dreamed of becoming. The truth is none of these stories hold any truth for we are responsible for the outcome of the lives we live. Blame is so much easier to say or spell than the word Responsibility. Yes, funny to compare these words to the reality that comes down to the truth. Responsibility is a lost word in our society for few people hold claim to its true meaning.

“Procrastination is the fear of success. People procrastinate because they are afraid of the success that they know will result if they move ahead now. Because success is heavy, carries a responsibility with it, it is much easier to procrastinate and live on the 'someday I'll' philosophy.”  Denis Waitley

The above quote is truly one to ponder for we all, I am sure, have taken a path that took us away from our dream or goal. Procrastination: the act of procrastinating; putting off or delaying or deferring an action to a later time
Then we blame it on the people and circumstances for ones failings to do or succeed. It does not have to be that way for everyday there is the possibility to change your path and live a better life even if it is a small change.
Taking responsibility for one's life is like having a pocket full of keys to open ALL the doors in one's path. Your responsibility is to reach in your pocket for the keys. Then to try one by one each key to find that one that will open the door you wish to enter.

Dare yourself today to take responsibility for one small change in your life. Feel the power of "I" made the decision. You will see and feel the change opening doors that you thought were once closed to you.
Today one step and tomorrow? Today appreciate all things in your life and that is your beginning of:
" Perhaps your life is filled with secret
possibilities that you never imagined." Robert Fritz
